The house at Airhill dates to before 1800 and has been a working farm since. The house and farm was bought by the Johnston family in 1941 and has seen two generations farm the land to the present day and is home to a 70 pedigree cow Hereford herd. The house survived a major fire in 1906 is listed in the book Houses of Wexford by David Rowe & Eithne Scallan.
